STRATEGY IN ACTION

Examples of recent leadership in AI governance, public interest technology, and systems innovation.

This case study collection highlights how I lead - from vision to execution - in complex policy, infrastructure, and civic tech environments. Each example illustrates how I work: collaboratively, strategically, and with clarity of purpose.

My approach focuses on creating momentum, aligning diverse stakeholders, and delivering durable outcomes across public and emerging technology sectors.

EMERGING TECH & AI POLICY STRATEGY

TOOLS FOR HUMANITY / WORLD

Positioned World as a credible, values-aligned voice in AI governance by embedding public interest design across systems.

Challenge:
With global AI and data regulations evolving rapidly, World needed a policy strategy that centered public interest, built regulatory trust, and reflected diverse global perspectives.

Role:
Led global policy communications and thought leadership across legal, engineering, and product functions. Centered equity and accountability in narratives, and built internal systems to guide ethical, cross-regional implementation.

Impact:

  • Developed a governance-aligned policy narrative for World ID and World App rooted in global equity and privacy principles.

  • Guided executive positioning on biometric ID, algorithmic accountability, and data sovereignty.

  • Embedded ethical design practices into early product decisions by surfacing user-facing risks and trade-offs.

  • Built internal workflows for issue response, enabling rapid alignment across legal, comms, and technical teams.

  • Supported World’s contributions to global AI frameworks around safety, transparency, and governance.

NATIONAL TRANSIT ADAPTATION STRATEGY

SAN FRANcisco MUNICIPAL TRansportation AGENCY

Led national design and delivery of a public transit resilience strategy adopted by 50+ U.S. agencies.
